Christopher Higgins

Christopher Higgins was an All-American at Yale University and was selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, 14th overall. He played the 2003-2004 season for the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL, finishing with 48 points in 67 games. Higgins hit the Canadiens roster full time in 2005-2006. He had an impressive rookie year, scoring 38 points in 80 games (20 goals and 18 assists). Higgins matched his production in 2006-2007, finishing once again with 38 points but this time in 61 regular season games. Higgins is a polished two-way skater with a lot of finish to his play. He's a quick skater and a nice fit at center or left-wing. Higgins will make an impact at the pro level and is a good fit for the speedy Canadiens.
