Petr Prucha
Petr Prucha was drafted in the 8th round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, 240th overall by the New York Rangers. He played 47 games in the 2004-05 season for HC Moeller Pardubice in the Czech Republic League, scoring seven goals with 17 points.
The next season Prucha moved to the New York Rangers and, as a rookie, scored 30 goals and 47 points in 68 games. His 16 power play goals broke Camille Henry's record for the single-season rookie power play goal mark for the Rangers. Prucha even shared an apartment with Jaromir Jagr.
Prucha is one of the lightest players in the NHL and he can be moved quite easily off the puck. He doesn't back down from anybody however and has a good touch around the net, making him a scoring threat at just over 160 pounds. Prucha may have trouble staying healthy for a full season, but he should represent a solid scoring threat for the Rangers.
